We love working as a doula team! We were both raised in Boulder County and share a love of the area and all it has to offer. We now get to witness our own children growing up in this vibrant community. We met in 2009 when Bonnie was Kyla’s doula, 2 years later we began working side by side at births as Bonnie mentored Kyla on her path to becoming a doula. Sharing a passion for both birth and photography we had a vision to support families as a team. Photo+Doulas was crafted in 2018, offering pregnancy and labor support & care as well as documenting families birth stories.

We have attended a combined 800+ births at hospitals, birthing centers and homes across the front range. Our philosophy for birth and doula support is simple and nonjudgemental. We dedicate time getting to know your unique family and your desires for your birth. It is important to us to intimately understand your priorities, strengths, fears & history. From there, we can help you navigate your personal journey towards meeting your baby. We provide comfort measures, education, optimal positioning for baby, informational support and prioritize the connection between you and your partner. We love supporting ALL families and birth. We have a wide range of experience including: high risk births, IVF, multiples, cesarean, rainbow babies, medicated & unmedicated, and water birth.

In addition to our doula and birth photography services we offer belly, newborn & family photography in the beautiful outdoors or our studio located in Prospect (Longmont).
